What year was it recently where everyone lost a bunch of apples? 2016 maybe? Not sure of the year but remember it. Looking at my records, my last freeze in 2016 was on 4/21. In 2020 the last freeze was 5/14 and it was on 5/15 in 2023, maybe one of those years?

BxEngine
Nice to see the ground not completely dried out for once. Been awhile. Now if we can string together a few 70 and sunny days maybe itll feel like a real spring lol
IrishRob17
My ornamental grasses starting growing in the heat of two weeks ago only to be shocked by the hard freeze last week. As a result it all looks like shit currently. The lawn is coming along decently though.

The lack of rain burnt spots out late last year, and they were already suffering to begin with. I hope the seed and aeration will help…i refuse to rip it all up and replant it and im not using and weed killer or shitty fertilizer. Too many pets around and its just grass at the end of the day. Good luck. Seed it now before the weeds take over. We have a cool period now with some rain coming this week.
gravitylover
Don't mow for a few more weeks and it'll go to seed. Harvest the seeds and put them in a paper bag for a few days then scatter them the day before it rains. If it's already growing on your land successfully it will continue. Buying grass seed is way too expensive anymore.

Yeah just threw down the seed right before the soaking rain over the weekend. Guess we’ll see.
