gravitylover
14° in just a few minutes here too. The rain was crazy, like a bucket got dumped on us, for 2 or 3 minutes. That was fun.
CPcantmeasuresnow
https://www.clarksfuneral.ca/obituaries/Roger-James-Smith?obId=47411042 Pretty bummed to read this tonight. I hadn't seen any posts from him for a couple of weeks. Unfortunately now I know why. Didn't quite know how to take him at first. A guy from BC commenting on our local weather as much as he did, but you could tell right away he was informed, courteous and interesting. Just a weather nut with a lot of knowledge that would engage with anyone. I'll miss his posts and contests. Proud to have won one of them this year. Who knew, 76 doesn't seem that old anymore. RIP Roger you will be sorely missed. 2
IrishRob17
Yeah, that was something last night when that woke me up and literally blasted through here. My bedroom drapes were moving back and forth like I had the window cracked open, which I didn't. Didn't lose power and no damage here from what I see so far but I know other parts of Orange County weren't as lucky with trees coming down on buildings and cars.

He was very nice and helpful with recommendations and what not. I assumed he was originally from around here before moving there but I guess I was wrong. sheahunter
Pleasantly surprised that my natural snow is still surviving, 650' elevation Mahopac. The lake is still pretty covered, but breaking up fast.
IrishRob17
Nice. I still have a couple plowed dirty piles along my driveway, exciting stuff. A solid winter but Feb and March were disappointing here for snowfall after a nice December and January.
