jewell2188
Dry air will ultimately win. Seen this story many times. Incoming fail. Mark my words. But hey, waste millions tax payer dollars for a few inches.
overcautionisbad
DT has made his first call. Notes models are trending toward pushing moisture further north. Big notes here he pulled his 2 inch line much further south and has 4 near Richmond instead of 8. Idk, seems reasonable

eaglesin2011
They are going to be wrong in my opinion . i just can’t see how we don’t end up with some backfill once this thing hits the coast. with the winds expected I could easily see a 1 to 2 inch band hit the area at some point.. If this slides even more south then yeah maybe we get nothing but right now I’m still in the 3-6 boat for RVA

Wherever this ends up setting up is going to be key.. It’s a race between the development of the storm & the dry air … Still right on the boarder line at this point but definitely trending in a good direction at this point…

That’s just missing the RVA area but just a slight bump north would make all the difference in this run.. The build up just south of us is a good sign… I can’t tell if this moved more north from the prior runs but it definitely is putting out more precip in areas near the boarder & Va Beach
