mreaves Posted June 20, 2011 Share Posted June 20, 2011 Yesterday, we exeperienced our coolest high temeprature thus far in June... We hit 97.... It's been 93 or above for all but TWO days since May 20th. Who's ready for a tropical system? This guy! My high for the month has bee 89°on the 8th. We even had a couple of days in the 50's. I am heading down to Thomasville, GA at the end of the week and expect to be slapped down by the heat. My mom has been telling me that it has regularly knocking on the 100° door for the past several weeks. Looking forward to it though (somewhat)! And even though it was very hot the first half of June, the humidity wasn't too bad. I have a feeling this time we won't be as lucky. Oh well, it's summer in the south.
