Snow squall warning out

Arctic fronts never disappoint. I went old school and just sat without my phone or any radar updates for 25 mins and just enjoyed it out the windows. Nice start to this Saturday.
Think this will be a interesting day. Lots of spin over Huron headed toward lake ontario. Almost like a meso low. With daytime heating from sun should make for a fun weather day.

Yea, I definitely blew that one. Hgts were higher on the east coast to start, but s/w was actually a bit weaker
We all make mistakes. Just the same pattern we been in will sweat this one all the way to end. Midweek system is icy for i90 north

What will probally prevent big gusts is front comes thru 6 7 am with no daytime heating to mix atmosphere.

Actually hrrr has clipper same strength as is passes our longitude.

No chance we get that here, system is weakening as it moves east.
Dave no chance we get a flurry either.

Meso models seem a bit clueless. Nam is usually terrible with these especially 12km

really surprised no Severe Thunderstorm warning. Would meet criteria for wind.
They issued snow squall warnings

It’ll be a nuisance at most for our area. Neither wind nor snow elevates to advisory level in my mind.
Maybe a snow squall warning if that’s still a thing. But definitely doesn’t have me excited. Different story east of the lakesThere will be at minimum widespread blowing snow. And not a huge deal in grand scheme but will definitely have impacts across entire area.

72 mph gust in west bend Wisconsin. Just nw of Milwaukee.
-
Seeing reports of 60 plus gusts in Wisconsin.
-
Kbuf should have atleast wwa out for all of western ny. Wind with widespread snow squalls should warrant that. But they never issue those. Also odd they don't have wind advisories for wayne ontario counties but are out east and west of those counties. Bad collaborative effort here.
