I have to disagree with you. As we get into March the increasing sun angle makes it more and more difficult to accumulate snow during the day, especially on paved surfaces. Once we get past mid month snowfall like we had yesterday will get obliterated by the sun within a day even with temperatures in the 20s.
I was more talking about accumulation not retention.

Give me one 12 inch storm in March and I think we can make average. And that would be a big comeback considering how piss poor November and December where.

First couple weeks of March may have some solid winter-like weather with consistent, cold temps. Just have to fight the losing battle of strong March sun.
March sun is overrated. Once you get into April then you can talk strong sun

Decent overnight runs. Still looking for my 2 foot storm though. Lol

I remember that one. Toronto got flurries while Buffalo, Rochester, and points east of us got hit hard. The Toronto snow shields were up for that one. I was so envious of you guys. It looks like the snow shield is temporarily down this winter.
Notice the little snow hole over syracuse. Bet syrmax phoned that in.

Rochester not making the cut and apparently, regardless of population, is not the snowiest city in the US. Cheers!

Tim is VERY proud of Rochester...not worth debating it with him. I'm surprised he hasn't built a house on the airport.
