    They’ve been ticking up for the past 24 hours. They always overestimate these kind of events though. looking back at the runs I screenshotted from last year this looks a ton like the Dec. 11, 2023 storm @Ji. Would be uncanny to run it back literally exactly a year later.

    yeah good recall - checked my photos and exactly Dec. 11 we had a rain/snow situation. Good couple hours of snow with road caves even in Arlington… think I managed to sneak an inch.

    It’s the snowiest of the rain to snow runs by far. This thing still has a chance IMO… Rare for these to work out, but not a lot of other game in town.

    Yeah, it’s a couple separate 8” storms. One around the 21st, one around January 7th, and then a 1-2” follow up close after the Jan 7th one. The Jan 7th one is the coastal/SNE mauler.

    Would be nice if we could continue tracking through Christmas after our almost guaranteed fail next week. I’m heading on a family (not my ideal date timeline) vacation for the 2nd week of January, so need to score before then. Last time I went on vacation was the Jan 3/4th 2022 snowstorm… still annnoyed about that one.

    A little bit of rain-to-snow would be a win. It's been a fairly active few weeks for tracking even if the only person who got any notable measurable snow from it is in the midst of canceling winner. Better than boring.

    00z EURO is rain to a little snow. Clown maps have some accumulating snow into the metros… imagine it would be confined more to I-81 in reality.

    so weird - as a Steelers fan and someone with eyeballs for when he was on the Panthers, he's a good WR. Boggles the mind as to why they can't get him involved in the offense.

    I'd amend this to before January. Feel like we've got a better shot in March than December. Maybe even a better shot in April than November.

    Was gonna ask if you if you traveled up there - sounds like not! Very frustrating. Would drive me mad as a chaser… drive up 6 hours, get a hotel, only to be off by 5 miles and 50 inches.
