  1. Was on the western edge yesterday and look to be on the far northern fringe *right now* but I’ve been enjoying tracking both. If I could pull off two to three for the third event in basically ten days, I’d call that a big win
  2. Around 2” - sleet now. About what I expected and super happy for all those in the city and LI cashing in
  3. Fair enough, understand wheee you’re coming from. Back to our regularly scheduled programming. 31 at MMU
  4. And I agree with that statement whole heartedly.. I get the sentiment of his post, but he’s directing his anger at the wrong guy. I was the one who was giving NWS kudos last storm while all were bashing. People are allowed to also share if they think it will be higher than or lower than forecast amounts, without it being criticism or bashing.
  5. Wow. Definitely not criticizing. At all. was literally saying I was surprised that they were raising totals, there is a huge difference between healthy skepticism and criticizing. You clearly don’t know my posting style at all if you think that.
  6. HRRR coming in dryer and with a basically 6 hour event which is fine with me if it’s going to be predominantly ice.
  7. *not what I think - just to be clear* my WWA went from 1-3 yesterday, to 2-5 this morning, to 3-6 this afternoon with some ice… seems like that’s the reverse order of how it should have gone
  8. Time to stop watching the models… a sloppy storm on its way, with potentially significant impact for those who stay frozen throughout (ice). get your favorite adult beverages or herbals and watch it unfold.
  9. Agreed. I’m around MMU and beginning to think this is mainly a sleet storm, and potentially a significant one.
  10. 1-4 been my call for most of the subforum all week - feeling good about it. Obviously once you get further north you’ll see the 4-7” numbers.
  11. My WWA went from up to two inches to 2-5 and a tenth of ice. Still think 1-3 and a lot of sleet is the call for my area.
  12. Out celebrating a new job but a friendly reminder not to feed the trolls and enjoy your Friday nights. snow/ice tomorrow, Super Bowl Sunday, good times. play nice all
  13. 2” for MMU seems right. Probably .20 of sleet/ice as well. I’ve said from the beginning the city and north and east will do better than the western parts of the area on this one
