    It has been a solid snow season here and I really can't complain overall, but I hate missing out on the fun. Not a flake so far and despite the NWS forecast of 3-5 here, I am not expecting much at all. Dry air, virga, sucks. Reminds me of January 2016.

    Being East of my location at higher elevation, yo have definitely done better than me closer to the river. The last storm I truly enjoyed. Interesting progression from storms 1-3,..... too far west to right where we want it to be, and now too far east.

    Sigh, that awesome band in central Massachusetts must be pouring 2-3 per hour. I grew up there.

    Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. I am picturing myself right now in the middle of July sweltering and chasing away bugs, fondly remembering today. That is what exactly happened last July when I remembered the blizzard on March 14 a year ago. Fingers crossed for Monday.

    South of Dutchess County I can see a foot or more. Very skeptical around these parts given the new track.

    Unless you fall under an intense band for a while, I am thinking 6-10 inch snowfall for around here. Don't think most of us crack a foot unless under a band. Northern Jersey looks to JP.

    Why did NWS Albany increase amounts from 7-12 to 12-18? The westward trend on guidance?
