That activity coming out of New Castle County NE Maryland Heading right for Delaware County that would be serious flooding if it holds together. Kamu Country and Media get ready.
Yeah it's about a 10 on the scale, not much wind, but I counted 20 lightning flashes in 24 seconds, awesome light show! Also about .60" of rain with more to come it looks like.
Whoa, just had a ctg strike behind us with the thunder almost simultaneous with the flash. Also wind picking up a bit.
What a storm!

Just finished up a nice round of morphing yellow/orange/red blobs, some wind at times, off and on lightning/thunder, and 0.83" of rain. Very enjoyable for the early evening!
Along with the 0.22" from yesterday, brings the June total here up to 6.31". Nice turnaround from May...

Just heard thunder, must be from that little guy down in Delaware. Overall it looks like the Lehigh Valley could see a lot of action today.

Picked up 0.50" earlier, brings the June total to 5.26". The ground here is getting pretty saturated, got water running off well after the rain stopped. Currently 79F with DP 74. AC feels nice when you go inside!

How much of that is virga? We need Kamu obs as it pushes north.
Been watching reports from St. John's regarding the missing submersible. I see the reporters and ppl in the background wearing jackets. I googled the weather there and it was in the low 40's. Just added St John's to the possible retirement spots (although being on the coast, they probably deal with changeover issues).
66F/DP 56F
I'm under greens at the moment but just virga so far. 65F currently, with a little ene breeze. Comfortable out.

Pretty much wrapped up here, if it clears out and warms up maybe we'll get something later. Mesoscale models seem to think we're mostly done for the day.
Got 0.61" from that line, some wind up front, no hail, plenty of lightning/thunder. Added to the 0.47" from earlier gives mby 1.08" today, and 3.70" for the week. Nice!

2.55" total here. A little too much at once, but thoroughly enjoyable and appreciated!

Flash flood warning here - just crossed the 2 inch mark, about 1.5" of it in the last hour. Wow....its been a while! 69F currently.

Just starting to rain a little here from some "popcorn" that developed. Driveway is wet already, lol.

Blue Sky on a smoky day....
52F here...can't beat these temps, though I think the lightning bugs (and people with pools) would like it a few degrees warmer.

Also it got smoky here...got the snow lamp out to check it, and lol, yeah. Looked for the moon, and it's either too low or obscured. Looks cloudy, no stars visible.

Yeah it's still going here. Been a long long time since I've experienced one of these (what seems like) evening long thunderstorms. We've been on the porch enjoying it for the duration.
X marks the spot, especially for Birds~69. Pretty cool all in all!
