>50% snow here now. Can't really tell because I put a red light in (Christmas) where my 1.21 Gigawatts snow light would normally be...
34F/Snow/rain
Probably all snow, that's what it is here, just light to moderate so no accumulations to speak of, but there is a coating on the cars and a tarp on the woodpile. 35F, DP 32.

Some fat wet flakes mixing in here occasionally now, 37F, DP 34. Snow in the air at least - yay!!

1.80" so far, radar looking pretty solid, and the temp here dropped from 57 to 52F in about 15 minutes. Winds are picking up, more northwesterly at the moment. Cold front definitely through here.

Fire looks good, the background tree needs some snow.
I'm going to be the idiot outside tomorrow morning in the rain finishing up the lights, clean up inside, shower, recliner and the Birds. No shot in hell I'm going out shopping for food or anything, I'm set. Did that today and it was a 3-4 hour mess...
48F/DP 47F/Fog
Agreed! Just finished splitting the rest of today's wood, and now it's starting to rain. A little early. Looking forward to being out here and having snow move in - last time was Sat. evening on Feb. 12, 2022. It had been in the 50s during the day and started as rain snow mix around 11 pm, and an hour later we had the beginning of a coating on the ground. Wound up with about 3". Had a nice snow moon a couple of days later.

49F, cloudy, light wind and actually a decent night to sit out on the porch w/a cold one during the halftime of college football games.
No bees, skeeters, critters or anything. Quiet and mellow w/a faint smell of a fireplace/firepit...

It's nice out, a bit foggy, we were splitting some wood, now testing the results lol.

In bee news the yellowjackets are back today, on December 2nd. Ain't ever seen anything like this, oh and a fly.
* And a honeybee lol
I saw a mosquito-looking type of insect earlier, he was just moving about. Too many clothes on to present good targets.

The cold underperformed a bit overnight, only got down to 30F, but had some flakes in the air here around 8:30, so that's a woo-hoo! Our first of the season! 34F currently.

Cold front coming through Monday...wouldn't be surprised if some of us see a flurry Tues or so?
43F/Light rain
Maybe... sounds like further north has a better chance. Cold is gonna have a bite to it, Mt. Holly says gusts to 35. Probably no kettle fire Tuesday evening lol.
-
1.05" here with the back edge getting close. More than expected, goes nicely with the almost 3" last week. Good trend!
-
Rain got heavier for a bit as that line passed through, not especially windy, although had some nice gusts earlier.
2.75" so far.

31F here, going to pick up my wife at the airport and the windshield is all iced up, lol.

Outside having a kettle fire and we just had a two minute light shower. Didn't see that coming, not in the local forecast either.

Good luck with the tooth (might be time to medicate), and hope you see some flakes.

Trick not treat for those snow chances in the long range? Looking more normal first half of November now.
* Not counting the chance of an errant flake in the wee hours of tomorrow morning
Stayin up for it?

Fought off a couple yellow jackets it's to late in the season to be doing this damn it. Tree color fading past peek about one third of the leaves are down. Should get the killing frost around Halloween.
These guys?

Yeah that band is producing. Grass is starting to get a slushy coating. Have about a quarter inch on the car roof, which means I've exceeded last winters total of 0.90", lol. Yay hooray!
