  1. Actual light snow now, can see a thin dusting on flat surfaces. Dewpoint came up to 19, so that's encouraging. Currently 29F. eta: Looks like more moderate snow to the west heading this way in about 20 minutes....
  2. I was blowing part of the lawn off when the first area of green on the radar moved through, so it's possible that was virga. The air is still pretty dry, but yeah nice to see some tiny flakes!
  3. Getting some very light snow here occasionally, pixie dust flakes. Current temp. 30F, DP 15.
  4. Yes it is indeed! Muhahaha...lololol.... that's my reaction after days of hoping for at least an inch. Which I still do, and yes we all know to take it with a huge grain of salt, especially since the 3K NAM didn't bite, but it is nice eye candy, n'est-ce pas?!
  5. Agreed! First time in almost 2 months for most of us for having some snow on the door step. I like it.
  6. I'm not buying it (lol ). Could happen that way, but I'm working off a smoothed out curve as far as guidance goes. Overall colder, with occasional brief warmups, and we'll see about the storm tracks. Next weekend (the storm after the storm) could be interesting.
  7. It's been not uncommon the last few years. Thanks for sharing too! At this point I'm setting my expectations for C-1", hoping for a grass blade coverer (2"). Still room for more but at this point it looks like all WAA here overnight Saturday, hope it holds together.
  8. Just had a few flakes here - that's 3 days in a row with some frozen!
  9. Probably a good idea. Temp here went from 32.2 to 31.6 currently.
  10. Light snow here with some sleet mixing in now, 31.8F. Got a dusting/coating so far, expectations pretty low for more, but hey, another step in a snowy direction!
  11. A few flakes of snow starting to fall here, 32F. Yay!
  12. Is that the short form version of "winter of yore, my ass"? I am hopeful that you and all of us will be made whole by snow, more snow, and snow on snow in the coming weeks!
  13. Feel better! Might need your help to pull this north a tick or two by the time we get to Wednesday or Thursday .
  14. Ditto here near Glen Mills, 34F. Under the yellows so not much going on under there (here anyway). DP is pretty low, 19F. But hey! Frozen precipitation - welcome back!
  15. Intense 4th quarter, awesome win....(tough for the Bears). Nice to win in Chicago too.
  16. However at this range it looks pretty fine! Someone will post a map I imagine :-).
  17. 0.53" total rain here, had some small peeks of sun late. Ground is very squishy! (Picking up sticks late pm).
  18. Nice! Take a look at the Simplicity Legacy XL too - you can get a loader for it :-).
  19. Understood! I think this year so far is a bit tough because we didn't see an extended snowless period coming. Never really expect it anyway since it is pretty rare. I am still holding out hope for later this month and Feb. though!
