Measured 0.9" of new frozen matter this morning which included 0.5" of powder on top, giving a storm total of 6.1". Really looks nice outside. Something about a nice fresh snow cover in December, the week before Christmas, just seems...right. It's been a while!
Mainly rain (freezing) here now with just a little sleet. Can hear the tree branches starting to creak a little from the ice. Currently 31F. Power flickered for a minute. Come on dry slot! And then maybe some powder on top?
Started happening here around the same time. Measured 5.2", and did a little shoveling. Exceeded my expectations, doubled last season's total, nice snowy afternoon, and it's December to boot!
Steady light to moderate snow here, 30F, DP 22. Small flakes with some medium sized ones starting to mix in. Measured 0.3" on top of the car.
Eta, looks great blowing sideways when the wind picks up!
Paul, are you sure 1989 didn't have snow on the ground at Christmas? In Delco we did, leftover from earlier snows, even though it was gone by New Years.
