  1. Just got an alert for a tornado warning here, yikes!
  2. No, lol, I've had more flakes a bunch of times. 1.1" event in December is hanging tough as the leader!
  3. Light rain, rain snow mix, and once in a while mostly snow here, but all light. 39F. So that's 4 months in a row we've had flakes in the air anyway, lol.
  4. Getting some light rain here with 40 some degrees (outside under a tent with a kettle fire, heh heh).
  5. Yeah it was pretty cool (not having to drive in it helped).
  6. Sounds good to me! Furthermore, the 12z ICON backs it up. Rooting for the underdogs!
  7. Thanks! Next winter try to hold off on the snowblower tuneup? Thanks again, lol.
  8. Yeah.... I haven't given up on early and mid Feb. either. I'm getting sucked in to the weenie vortex, fantasizing about next weekend, lol. Maybe I should dial it back a notch. Nah...
  9. The previous version was erratic until about 3 days out. No data to check with the new version since we haven't had one since its been in service full time (almost a year?). Another reason why we need a Miller A, lol.
  10. 6 weeks till the March snows- BRING IT!
  11. In 1977 they had an icebreaker come up the Delaware, lol. The ice was 2 feet thick I believe. 1994 I call the ice winter - icicles hanging in trees for days, and my yard looked liked it had 3" of liquid ice poured over it. Amazing, you could even see the grass underneath in spots. I remember rolling blackouts due to high power consumption, which surprised me for wintertime.
  12. Made me think of "the double dutch bus", lol.
  13. Gonna have to come up with a new name for it in that case!
  14. Is that like the draft, if we finish poorly this year we get a high draft pick next winter? Haha...
  15. Saw a ladybug here yesterday afternoon....
  16. Not anything on the ground here, but there are a few flakes falling, yay! 34F here currently.
  17. I saw what appeared to be some buds getting ideas today. Guess they got faked out by the pseudo-winter of Nov./Dec. Sure hope they take it slow till winter returns.
  18. Some light flurries here too. Happy New Year!
  19. Don't worry, February will be rockin this winter, especially with the extra day due to it being a leap year, lol. Although according to my research, the most snow received on a Feb. 29th at PHL is 1 inch. Still would almost double the current total here this season so far, which is 1.3".
