  1. I mentioned starting spring cleanup in Feb. (in 2020), and I remember it being in the 40's and 50's. 2 months later in mid April it was still in the 40's and 50's, lol. Currently 32F here with a dp of 14.
  2. I'd have to go back and look to see when it snowed that winter. I do remember starting spring cleanup in mid February. That was around when all the toilet paper disappeared, lol. Wasn't all that long ago but it seems like it.
  3. Lol, got 0.30" here, that's over 1/2" in the last week. Progress!
  4. Same here, it's actually like a heavy light rain, if that makes any sense. Like heavy drizzle but bigger drops.
  5. Welcome back! You didn't miss much weatherwise. There were some "spirited discussions" about other things which you can catch up on :- ).
  6. Got 0.28 here overnight, more than most recent rain events. That's a little encouraging, been getting a lot of dust doing yard work.
  7. The rest was on the 4th. I remember that snow, it was the only one of the season, we got around 11". I think PHL got 8" or so. Don't forget 1972-73, the 1st snow never happened, lol.
  8. It seems like more than a year ago. Maybe cuz there's nothing on the near term horizon.
  9. Yeah, I went back and looked at the thread. Pepperidge Farm remembers when it snowed in December.
  10. It was pretty nice in NW Delco as well. Christmas Eve was a Saturday, it started snowing around 7 am, was heavy by late morning, with thundersnow in the early to mid afternoon! Wound up with 20" and Christmas morning looked like a Christmas card! One of my favorites for a lot of reasons.
  11. Might want to check your 2006 bulb, none of the lights after that are working. However I'd include Dec. 8th 2013 in that list for down here anyway, and while it wasn't huge total wise (6-8") it came down at 2" an hour for 2 or 3 hours (see Eagles game, lol).
  12. Same here. Expecting it to be pretty windy for the next couple of hours based on Mt. Holly's forecast discussion.
  13. Severe t'storm warning here. No thunder or lightning, kind of calm at the moment, but radar says it'll be here within 5 minutes. Kinda cool. Keeping my ears peeled for the sound of distant strong winds approaching.
  14. Your avatar does bear some resemblance to the guy in the meme, lol.
  15. Whether it verifies or not, that is beautiful!
  16. Lol, I won't judge, I'm sure I have some good pics from episodes of doing what you gotta do.
  17. Lol...good luck! Don't look any harder than you want to though. Defcon 3 or 2 maybe.
  18. Nothing here but virga from that green that moved through. 34F currently.
  19. Yeah I've noticed it too. Seems like some trees and plants go by the calendar and others go by the temps. So there were some trees that leafed up at the usual time and others that waited due to the cool spring. Similar for this fall. We have a Willow Oak that is a beautiful big old tree that is still dropping leaves, they are small and there's a billion of them, lol. Sweet Gum trees aren't done yet either, but they're all getting there. We usually are done with leaves here by the 1st of December.
  20. This turned into quite the thin line. Got about 3 minutes of heavy rain. Eta, getting pretty windy here now, post frontal passage.
  21. Lol...hey Matt, as an honorary Prick Philadelphian, I say feel free to stop by and comment anytime, on any subject. And thanks for the meaningful commentary on this topic!
