  1. Pretty sure you could be over 6.0", 4" was pretty common in the area for Jan. 7th, and I believe you had over 2" this past Sunday.
  2. Basically mood flakes here this morning for an hour or two, and yes, it was nice. Even a dusting in one or two spots, lol. But it would be nice going into this cold stretch to have some snow cover. Maybe next week!?
  3. Switched over to snow completely here now (took a while from first flakes mixing in). 35F. Hoping for some accumulation before the ole back edge gets here.
  4. Right now I'm focused on Thursday morning. Given the chaos with the atmosphere and models, whatever happens through the weekend and after will be a bonus if we can get 2 to 4" Thursday, which is less than 36 hours out precip-wise. 3k NAM starts as rain around 3 am, pretty much all snow by 6 am. Here's hoping!
  5. It winds up looking like the storm we just had, track wise. Doubtful it verifies, 11 days out for one thing, and that's a rare track to begin with. You never know though, lol.
  6. GFS 2022 = Steve Carlton 1972 - sort of, lol. Phillies won 59 games that season, Carlton won 27 of them. Hopefully we'll wind up doing better than the Phillies did that year!
  7. Jury won't be back till the weekend, maybe a day or sooner if consensus is strong.
  8. Likewise, had a dusting on the grass a couple hours ago. Currently 34 here but the ground is already freezing up from the leftover cold beneath.
  9. Thank you too! Maybe it has a leak....we have one that we put in a tray for that reason.
  10. Yes, hopefully it will be added to! Getting some light snow here now, 37F.
  11. Sounds more like a wind/rain issue than a humidifier one? Did you check the ceiling?
  12. Forgot to put the rain gauge out for last night so I have no idea how much rain we got here but it must have been a fair amount. Signs of flooding out back...snow is pretty much all gone, did have a new dusting on the mulch earlier but that went away. However, here is a pic of the snow pile late yesterday followed by another from a little while ago. Mission accomplished, heh heh:
  13. And in the same CWA as winter storm warnings. Pretty wild.
  14. Glad you missed him/her! A lot of them aren't so skilled at crossing streets. Not a good occasion to do "follow the leader".
  15. We put some corn out at dusk for them. It's funny about the lights, one year we had no trees out front to put lights on, so we got a tree at a good price on Christmas Eve, staked it in place, and put lights on it. That night when the deer came around a couple of them were staring at the tree like "Wait a minute - I know about the lights, but I don't think that tree was there yesterday", lol.
  16. This was in the 6:45 pm update to the forecast discussion earlier: So looking at the 02z HRRR it shows this for 11 pm: And the current Dover radar shows this: So it could get interesting for some areas. I'm gonna need to free up more attachment space now, lol.
  17. Lol, they're probably used to it. I like your plan! Maybe we'd have a kettle fire to go along with it, if it wasn't raining (we have a tent for such occasions). We did have some company earlier:
  18. Thank you sir! Probably a touch of maniac as well, lol. My wife participates too so that encourages this behavior.
  19. Measured 2.0" before mixing with sleet for about 10 minutes, then all rain since a little after 8 pm. Currently 32F with dp at 29. Exceeded expectations here, always nice to see snow falling. Spent the last 40 minutes shovelling snow for the snow pile, added more than expected there as well, although it was getting heavy with the rain soaking it. Been through that a few times the last few years, totally soaked when we decided to stop. All good though!
  20. Moderate snow here, about 3/4" so far. Temp @28F, dp 22.
  21. Good luck! Are you going to a concert or giving one?
  22. Good sign, the driveway is dusted already (albeit a very thin dusting)!
  23. 1st flakes here, 28F, dp 16. Yay! Hoping to get enough to add to the snow pile before it changes. I'm prepared to shovel 300 ft. of 1/2" of snow. Hopefully we get that much, more would be great!
  24. Sure looks and feels like it. Virga overhead right now. Seems like 20 to 30 minutes of virga based on obs from MA forum. 29F here currently, dp at 14.
