Nada here. Just some thunder and a sprinkle. But it did drop my temp to 80F after a high of 88F.

FWIW...the 12Z NAM says Elsa is a non-event NW of Philly. I don't mind missing flooding rains, but I'd sure like the lawn to get watered. Still, a 30 mile jog this way or that will change things. 82F/DP 74F

Missed out on yesterday's action, but I did hear thunder from the storm that k/o Agnes's power as it passed to my south. Awesome sky last night seeing all that lightning in the distance from the storms in NJ. When I was a youngin', the old folks called it "heat lightning". 77F/DP 73F

Fooking 90F/DP 75F. I imagine any storms will send our DPs even higher

Yep, absolute downpour here. Made it to 80F, now down to 67F. I can see blue skies and sun in the distance.

Happy 4th everyone! Got down to 59F overnight with some heavy pea soup before sunrise. Will our Christmas Day high surpass last night’s low?? Also, hearing my first cicadas this morning (no brood x here).

Badges? We don't need no stinking' badges!! I wouldn't mind getting a shower or two today. Anything to keep the lawn moist this time of year. Of course, depending on Elsa, the ground may become more than moist later next week. Long ways out still. And hey, do we get new and improved weenies from Greenskeeper now??

My temp isn't bad at 69F, but the 69F DP kinda sucks.

Got back up to 81F before the clouds moved in. Dumping here now. Some thunder but not much wind.

Quite a difference over a relatively short distance, only make it to 78F here. Light rain has moved in.

Gust front just came through with a nice shelf cloud. Temp down to 85F.

96F, topping yesterday's 95F. Still plenty of time to add on to that.

PS: My DP hasn't bopped much. It's been hovering around 75F the last day or so.

91F at noon today, a degree up from yesterday at this time. The only thing making this bearable is knowing it ends today.

Touched 95F, now down to 94F. DP is 75F. Stuck my hand out to get the mail, that's the extent of my outdoor activity today.

90F at noon compared to 87F at this time yesterday. Got to 93F yesterday and that was with occasional clouds overhead. Full sun today, so 95F+ looks like a safe bet.

Back in the day, we’d have bottle rocket wars with the kids on the other side of Darby creek. We’d wrap ours in Play Doh and cover them with bb’s. Yeah, we were sick freaks.

I wouldn’t mind getting hit by the blob, it’s getting dry out there again. Kicked up a lot of dust while mowing today. It doesn’t take much for that solstice sun to bake moisture out of the soil.

84F/DP 71F With the clouds and breeze it didn’t totally suck out there today. Still, I’m happy to be back in the AC.
