  1. 2.20"! Yeah, it was puking fatties here for awhile. Temp up to 63F.
  2. You're just full of good news this week. Sitting at the breakfast table on snowy mornings listening to KYW was like playing the Powerball for kids!
  3. Thunder! I invoke the "Wiggum Rule". Just over 1.00", 58F.
  4. I met Pierre a few times at various concerts back in the 80’s. Class act, always made time for the fans.
  5. I think these last few weeks have revealed our various paths to failure this winter... The storm a few weeks ago never consolidated as initially expected. Yes, the shore took a beating with strong winds and beach erosion, but not much precip west of the river. Today's storm is a southern slider. And the late week storm is an inland runner. Patience! Maybe March will rock?
  6. I have a thing about not turning on the heat before Halloween. I caved these last two mornings.
  7. It's good practice for the winter...don't trust the models beyond 48hrs. (Even at 48hrs, you're taking your chances.)
  8. We should merge with the Sports forum since our Philly snow and sports fortunes are so similar Picked up .25” overnight, 49F.
  9. If anything happened, I slept through it. Trash bins stood their ground! Looks like my high for the day will be 68F, currently 53F.
  10. Trash night, so I’m expecting a good gust or two when the front rolls through. 72F
  11. It’s Yellowjacket season. They know their days are numbered and were buzzing me all day in the yard.
  12. Hit a fooking deer tonight…or more like the deer ran into my car No serious damage but my car requires some body work. Wonder if it’s worth reporting to my insurance.
  13. Storm damage report: lawn strewn with leaves, twigs and acorns. Just surpassed the 0.15" barrier. We will rebuild. 55F
  14. I think I didn’t go to work that day because of the forecast. Yeah, I had some explaining to do the next day.
  15. My not-so-good memory wants to say February 1989. The shore is the place to be for this storm. I feel bad for anyone back this way that changed or cancelled their plans because how this storm was hyped. Dr. No ftw!
  16. I’m counting on wrap-around rains to save the day
  17. Conditions continue to deteriorate as I’m getting filtered sunlight, 62F.
  18. Approaching 0.25”. Sump pumps keeping pace with the sporadic drizzle. A few small to medium sized leaves down on the lawn. Will post more obs if power stays on. 57F Edit: Regret not making a bread, milk and eggs run yesterday.
  19. Lemme guess…your outlook will include the word “patience”.
