  1. Yep, probably halfed our totals which isn’t good given it is the NAM. Maybe the euro will win out on its own but I’m thinking a 3-6 event at best. It just stinks...when we are on the mix line the trend is always sending that line to Erie when it was initially Morgantown....and when we are on the fringe we can literally never get that 50-100 mile shift.
  2. The fat lady is warming up for us...not that we didn’t expect it as we’ve seen this song and dance about 50 times the last ten years.
  3. I honestly think central pa will really be the only area that does really well. Dc, philly, and nyc I think are going to be very unhappy.
  4. Nope. As would be the norm right in the cutoff. Drive 50 miles east and you get 6-10.
  5. If I only get 19.0 inches and someone else gets 34 I’ll complain /s
  6. NAM gives me like a 12-18 type of event. I don’t really but that out here lol.
  7. It is, but at the same time we’ve seen the NAM do this plenty of times. Verbatim though it approaches 2/5-2/6 2010 level totals, but in reality probably about an 8-12 type event given the NAM’s propensity to spit out high QPF. If the GFS makes a move towards it though it is game on as the euro is hinting at the same sort of trend.
  8. Trust me, we are hoping to get 6 inches out of this, though I don’t mind you guys getting crushed. It is why the MA forum just ticks me off....DC has had multiple foot plus storm the last decade yet if they get a storm that is 4-8 inches they all lose their mind...and he’ll I’d take a nice 4-8 warning level event. People tend to look At Pittsburgh’s 40-50 inches a year, and think we get a lot of nice storms, but the reality is it is about 15 trace to 2 inch type events which as I get older I’d almost rather it not snow.
  9. Yes!!! Loving the meltdown in the MA thread. Truly hilarious.
  10. I could deal with this, and like I said love it even move because it screws DC hahahahaha.
  11. Hopefully the NAM is picking up on a trend! The mid atlantic forum is melting down a bit which I love to see
  12. This is likely going to be another very painful storm for us to watch. We might squeeze out a few inches while places an hour or two drive away see a foot and a half. Thank goodness we got that nice event already or this forum would likely be ready to jump off a cliff.
  13. Hah...feel like you could say this on almost every storm. I know we have had one 10+ inch storm the last decade or so, and that was the March 21st 2018 storm, which while it was nice, it was the first day of spring, didn't stick on roads, and compacted down to like 5 inches immediately lol. Edit: I just checked and not sure that was even 10+ inches?
  14. You're in a much better spot than most of us for this. I could see you getting 10 inches while Pittsburgh gets 4.
  15. Yeah, if we can get over 6 like MAG mentioned I could deal with that. If we get 2-3 inches while Altoona gets 15 I will be salty af.
