    The Euro literally will make you cry. We get like 3 inches while 100 miles east gets a foot and a half. Once again, we are either fringed or mixing. Are only "good" storms seem to be like the one two weeks ago that overachieve and we get 7 inches instead of 4. Big 12-18 types storms just aren't in the cards here.

    Hate this map for me, but if DC gets fringed and turns to rain I can deal with it a bit better.

    Here is what I will say though, as usual there is never much of a middle ground with us. We are either fringed or having mixing issues...it is pretty amazing how often these two scenarios repeat themselves here. The one thing I will say is that I hope it is 33 and rain in the mid atlantic.

    Ehh, we are still pretty due. I mean we got a nice 7 inch storm to start the season, but we have not had a crusher in a decade.

    Yep...I do not care if someone else gets two feet if we get 14 inches. It is when we get 4 inches and 50 miles away gets 16.

    I feel like this is the type of storm track we haven’t seen in years....and when we have there hasn’t been enough cold air wrapping in.

    This is certainly the best rates of the day. Eyeballing maybe four inches or a bit more...and the radar looks awesome at the moment.

    I think we could absolutely push 6 inches. The radar is looking really good right now.

    Out our way there is a pretty good chance this is going to be a better storm than we had all last winter.

    This is probably going to be a better storm than any we had all last winter.

    There was a storm in January I think a few years ago that was a major blizzard up in New York but we had a 5-6 hour backend where we got near an inch an hour. That is also a rarity though, so I agree.

    Regardless this should be a fairly fun storm since we are going to have winds gusting near 30mph tomorrow so should be a nice scene.

    Hate to say it but I agree. Also very concerned to see how the levees hold up in NO.

    Ok, hurricane hitting greece. Tropical system hitting Portugal. Can we get the trifecta and have a great lakes STS?

    Well you don't see an NHC advisory on a tropical system of any kind landfalling in Europe very often.

    If it pulls a florence can we get a replay of NJWX or whoever it was in the florence thread that predicted a cat 4 then proceeded to scream after every frame on the satellite that the intensification?

    Odds on this making a hard left into Boston? Will the surge be higher than Sandy? Maybe we will get a Cat 4 into Maine!

    You're going to be unhappy this year, I am guessing.

    My regret with Sandy is that I didn't get snow. We were so close to cold d enough but just didn't get there. Honestly, we barely got any wind here either. It was a pretty huge snoozer here.
