Big warmth would be nice, but it’s always good to keep expectations in check. Seasonable is ~60 here by April 15. That & some sunny stretches are more than good enough for me.

Excellent. This would be my second summer/fall here. I had to completely redo the front last August. It was all weeds. Still feel like I have a long way to go.

I was in Detroit for that Final Four. It’s an awesome experience.

What an unbelievable run. Absolute domination. I was in shock. They were flooring it from the moment the ball was inbounded in the second half.

The one and only time I ever went skiing I was in college. Learned the basics and stayed on beginner paths, but one run I picked up too much speed and couldn’t slow down. At the end of the path was a little “cliff”, like a 5-10 ft drop and I knew that I either halted my momentum or I was going down really ugly. Ended up hitting a tree. I was fine, but that was the end of skiing for me.

Nice, Kev. I don’t know what it’s usually like here but I have a bunch of sticks and branches down, including a widow maker that’s still spiked into the ground. I have a lot to do. First spring at the house and I really want to get a flower bed in, replace a small tree, and get some shrubs in. Not to mention reseeding the right of way and getting a real mower to handle the backyard. Really wish I could redo the exterior of the house but new windows take me out of that market. I’ve done (and spent) a lot in 7 months. Love it.

I went to SC for the last total eclipse. It is a truly extraordinary and awe inspiring event. I will drop everything to see the next one in 2024.

The madness begins!

Despite this being the crown jewel of the undisputed worst winter of my life, I am genuinely happy for everyone that got something today. From @Damage In Tolland and @Ginx snewxto @Sey-Mour Snow and @TalcottWx & @tavwtby From the Mass guys @ORH_wxman and @CoastalWx & @ineedsnow to @40/70 Benchmark & @weathafella and then the northerners— @powderfreak & @dryslot, @mahk_webstah & @MaineJayhawk I have no idea why I’m tagging so many people, other than to say that this place is maddening and hilarious and dramatic and fun, and I appreciate the personalities, analysis, and most of all photos and observations. It’s a crazy community, but it’s impossible to imagine tracking and talking wx anywhere else. Real snow will accumulate in East Hartford again someday. Just not this winter lol.
