  1. My backyard isn’t that big, so I think a pool is out of the question and the price and timelines now are insane with the amount of pools going in. Maybe down the road if we look to move a pool would definitely be on the list. Probably staying put for now though, obviously.
  2. “Didn’t get below 60.. except when it was 58.”
  3. 49 when I left my house at 5:40. Refreshing
  4. Yeah... I think it might be more viable for two people vs a family. The one I was looking at is like 7.99 a person per meal... I guess it all depends on your grocery bill. The cost of groceries has absolutely skyrocketed over the last 6 months or so and with the amount we already pay... might be nice to have 4 concrete meal options a week
  5. Anyone here ever used or currently use a home meal delivery service like hello fresh etc etc? We are looking to reduce waste and maybe even cut costs.... and were wondering if this might be worthwhile?
  6. 53 on my thermo as a I left this morning. Can’t remember the last time it felt this refreshing out.
  7. Yeah... I mean like all of these things, there is an obvious slant.
  8. Yeah... this certainly isn’t America of yore, where the dad could work as a truck driver and support a wife and 8 kids. Pretty sobering article though, what do we do well here? Our healthcare and childcare costs are astronomical.... among other things
  9. 44... actually drove the green on the 8th hole.... dog leg left of about 300 yards... I cut the corner over the trees onto the green.
  10. Played 9 at pine oaks in Easton on Sunday before the rain moved in.... course was in rough shape.... everything was fried to a crisp. Playing crosswinds in Plymouth this Saturday... $79 it’s a little bit more than we like to spend but it looks like a nice track.
  11. Is it a problem for humans? It would be going right into a vent for the stove. Wouldn’t want it to be harmful if it somehow found its way into the stove or something
  12. Yeah.... barely enough to wet the ground here.... .14 over like 8 hours ain’t going to get it done.... I know Matt (butterfish) and Bob did a bit better.... and Matt is pretty close to me so kind of surprising
  13. Not sure what you think is happening here. I’ve had .10 and looks like the bulk of the rain will be south of here from here on out
  14. .10 here. Better than nothing I guess, but looks like we’re going to miss most to the south
  15. Bark is worse than the bite with this rain. Ground is barely wet here
  16. Thanks... I may do that. They’ll die eventually right? But the issue is they may come back next year if I don’t get the nest out.
  17. I lifted the flap of the vent earlier and sprayed wasp killer in there..... only a few flew out... but I could still here them buzzing... so I don’t think I hit the best somehow. I don’t want to just unload like 20 cans of raid in there if I’m not hitting it, so I think we’ll end up calling someone.
  18. Let’s put it this way... I’d hope if they could get in it would have happened already... since it seems like there is probably a decent number of bees
  19. I don’t believe they can get in... I took the grates off and there was nothing inside... you can see the fan and the pipe.... so I’m guessing they can’t get through the fan? And we haven’t see any inside the house either. The stove is on the back wall... so the actually pipe is only like 18” from the hood to the outside vent, so there isn’t a lot of space... I can see them flying in from the outside vent. It looks like there is a small gap where the flap is that is allowing them in.
  20. So I need some bee advice. We have a vent pipe from the hood above the stove that goes outside. There is very obviously a nest in the pipe because when I open the cabinet where the pipe goes through to the outside, I can hear them buzzing inside. What the heck can I do about that?
