Meh.... we’ve had this in the forecast for 12 months, so no surprise

Why are the clearing requirements so bizarre? I feel like you should be able to clear whenever as long as you are keeping track of it and doing it in a somewhat consistent manner. In the interest of accurate weather data, don’t you want what actual fell, no what it’s compacted to after “x” hours because you can’t clear until then.

Pretty significant storm here.... no issues. Absolute cement for the most part, and the plow piles reflect that. Looks like a lot more than 13-14”.

Holy smokes.... what was the consensus up there anyway? I know it certainly wasn’t 40” lol. I think the euro yesterday afternoon gave you like 2-3” of sand

It’s so hard to tell... but I cleared like 7-8” this morning and had a solid 6 when I just went back out... the last couple our fluff.... good amount of compaction, so sticking a ruler in the ground doesn’t really work now. going to go with 14” final here

Yeah my new cub cadet made quick work of the snow, including plow piles where I put my trash bins. I’m happy with it so far. The one I had was a craftsman my dad bought when I was like 7 years old... so 19 years ago. Pretty rugged machine but it’s leaking fuel, and all the metal on it is pretty corroded. Not worth putting money into a machine that old. My favorite feature about the one I just bought is dual LED headlights. The old one didn’t have those and it could be a pain in the ass.

How do people like cub cadet snowblowers? My snowblower broke... had to go pick one up at Home Depot in Mansfield.... absolutely wild ride. Roads a disaster.... white out. Temp went from 30 at home to 20 when I arrived at Home Depot. Wind whipped fluff at home now on top of absolute concrete pack.... looks like another 2-3” since I left and came back... it’s compacting but we’ve had like 15-16”.... beast mode storm

Most short range guidance advertising another 4-6” or so here.... on top of the 8-9 we have already. Hopefully that pans out
