    Agree, I would wait till the 12z runs tomorrow for tweaking, that would get a real good sampling of the position and strength of the high and the system currently on the west coast. Nice map, past history is always a factor especially with the CAD.

    I'm thinking they are considering mixing issues. But haven't put it in their forecast.

    If that did occur, I'm guessing that would increase the ZR amounts and cut down snow amounts in areas north of the city.

    Online price is $ 999.00 , if you order it then online its cheaper and I believe they do free delivery. It's called white glove service. They have it prepped and ready to go. They had that service 3 years ago when I purchased. Don't know if they still have that service. Also, lowes price matches.

    I cuts thru the wet snow very well. It throws powder snow about 20'. I add fuel stabilizer to the gas, put in a new spark plug, and grease the auger before the season. Only issue I had was breaking on of the sheer pins off the auger on a piece of blacktop the town truck chopped it up off the street. Easy to change. It's good to keep a few extras on hand.

    I have the Ariens 921045 24" snowblower. This is my 3rd season with it. Works great. Love it.

    Agree, also in the inland areas, it might be tough to scour out the CAD and with the 1-3 inches forecasted Thursday night inland, that will also help with keeping to surface temps cool.

    The ZR threat in the inland areas is a concern along with the flash freezing. If the winds are also an issue, that could bring down trees and cause power issues.

    Agree, sometimes I doubt the Davis, but this map makes me feel better, you're readings fall in line too.

    1.56 in the Davis for yesterday's event. Have to drain the pool again with yesterday's and the New Year's Eve events.

    I had 1.56 in the Davis yesterday. So the QPF map is spot on for here in northeastern Orange County.
