  1. Triple point Lows always mean rain for us down here
  2. Snow squalls are my favourite winter event. It's just incredible, so heavy and windy and everyone freaks out like WTF
  3. NH doesn't have many laws, but the ones they do have they enforce hardcore, like speeding on 93. Statie every 10 feet.
  4. Some nice spots on the west side of Wachusett that are like 1,300 ft for ya, you and MPM moving together
  5. Think FIT is in a dry slot.....like you. Barely snowing here....so much for 6"
  6. Airing on our next segment is "Temp Talk with Turkeys" featuring guests from CT east of the river
  7. Is this event considered "a little critter"?
  8. Still raining here at almost 1,100 feet just south of RT 2..…probably snowing at my folks 100' higher down the road lol
  9. You think there's a flip to rain still in Hubby's and my area? I hate the IMBY questions but there's quite a few of us up this way now between Hubb, JJASHB, and myself.....and soon MPM will be in the area too
  10. It's unbelievable how cold that place is.... coldest place in the NE US by far. Is it because it's in a sink? Are you going to give an accumulation prediction? Not sure I've ever seen one from the most prolific poster. Ginxy is waiting.
  11. 8" for us bro, button up and enjoy the ride.
  12. PANTS TENT TO COMMENCE ERECTING. Should we make a separate banter thread for this?
  13. We haven't had that like 2 week stretch this fall where it's just clear and like 50 degrees.....you know nice leaf blowing and wood splitting weather. Rough. My wood pile is saturated.
  14. Well....that's why we'll get 3" instead of 6". The ice card has been underplayed quite a bit I think. We tend to get our most damaging ice storms early in the winter season.
  15. Even BOX says I'm right! As for ice accretion, could see some significant icing especially across the higher inland terrain and portions of the CT valley, as mixed precip could linger into Fri morning
  16. I'm kinda serious I guess....I don't mean damaging ice, not the set up for that....but maybe like 1/4" stuff. Always gets underplayed. And I don't care what people say, it's called using my eyes and personal experiences. A 10 degree frozen ground is way easier to accumulate on than a 40 degree saturated water mess....laws of thermodynamics. Try it. Take some ice and throw it on a 40 degree soaked carpet.....and a 10 degree carpet....what lasts longer? Now if it starts to pound down....well the game changes. Ok rant over :-).
  17. I'll be headed up to Stinson Lake this weekend..... should I bring an ATV or the sled ....hmmmm
  18. If this comes in mostly at night, I could see some nice icing out this way. Will be hard to accumulate much snow with the warm ground too.
  19. I'm sure they can go up to 115% of capacity or something like that if needed
