Winning the QPF game in the summer seems like losing.

I just need Saturday morning to be somewhat rain free. I’m helping run a huge tag sale for the Boy Scouts and we need people to show up and buy stuff.

It was on the door of my shed. Believe me, I took a few steps back when I saw it. The board it’s on is 4 inches across so it gives you an idea of the size.

I’ve come to fully accept cold season QPF deficits followed by QPF bull’s-eye for warm season. I guess I won’t do any planting this week because seeds will be washed away and roots will rot.

50/38 under mostly clear sky. I guess 30s might be possible by morning. I don’t have anything planted yet though.

Judging by radar it’s been steady rain all day along and W of I-91. Pouring in Falmouth right now, but the morning was intermittent showers.
