    Yeah, 12F here for the high. Already down to 3/-10. The next 48 hours will be a top 5 turnaround from arctic to wet in these parts.

    Oh' man, Amherst is tough. My first go round in W MA was in the early 90's and I couldn't believe the snow difference when I moved from the Amherst/Belchertown line up to Leverett. Amherst is such a snow hole. Northampton gets more snow even though they are basically on the river.

    East side of the CRV. Part's of B-town have decent elevation but mostly a valley location for sure.

    I am just hoping for 3-4” for my kid’s sanity even if we flip to rain for a bit. I am confident that I am not sniffing 40° at my house.

    I think I had 2 feet by New Year’s last year so I have a lot of catching up to do this year. Lol

    Ice fishermen are out on Barton Cove on the Connecticut River. Smaller rivers have lots of ice flows in them this morning. The only upside of not having much snow covered this week is that the ice is getting thick quickly on the ponds and lakes. A few inches of snow tends to slow that down a little bit.
