  1. 3.1" of rain in 24 hours here. Drought talk done.
  2. https://www.businessinsider.com/pentagon-confirms-ufo-video-real-taken-by-us-navy-cnn-2021-4?r=US&IR=T&utm_source=reddit.com
  3. Nor will the 0” in Greenfield/Deerfield.
  4. Friend in Wendell reported a legit 14.5” That might be highest in MA. I was encouraging her to put it up on the NWS snow report form.
  5. I'd rather talk about UAV's and Aliens!
  6. Just looked at the NWS snow reports and I am calling BS on the 2" in Turners Falls, I drove through there this morning and there was barely a coating anywhere. Also, a lot of the Franklin Co. hilltown reports are probably underdone since they are mostly from this morning. Shutesbury and New Salem were close to 10" I saw plenty of pics from FB friends.
  7. I also want Dendrites clown emoji to be added to the list.
  8. Sunday through Tuesday look decent here. Maybe tickle 70 on Tuesday?
  9. Missing today, October and one of the February events kind of screwed me here. 47” for the season which is a good 10-12” below normal. December and February were basically the only months I got snow this year.
  10. Friend in Northfield MA reporting 5” on the N side of town and 1.5” on the S side of town, less than 3 miles apart. Crazy.
  11. That image is a great example of full valley shadowing with dry air punching in. On that radar loop you would think it was snowing or raining good here but just a few drops with brightening sky now.
  12. Shutesbury MA. Quabbin hill towns crushed!
  13. Wife says 3” in the stratus now! 6 weeks earlier and this would have been 24-36” for the hills.
  14. Yes, easterly flow when surrounded by hills is not ideal. Elevation really helped. My friend out at Berkshire East said they only had a sloppy inch or two at the base which is at about 600’ meanwhile places in Plainfield and Rowe had 5-7” at 1000’.
  15. That might be it. There is a Ridgeline no more than a half mile behind my backyard that rises up several hundred feet. IIRC the same thing happened in the October storm where it was snowing almost everywhere except for Greenfield and Turners Falls.
  16. Oh, I thought it had to at least stick to the surface for a few minutes?
  17. It sure does but I can assure you it’s raining. Heavily.
  18. 2.7" of rain and counting. I may not have snow but I might be the qpf jackpot.
  19. It's weird, it's snowing in Amherst for Christ sake and that is like the valley floor! I wonder if there is a weird warm layer trapped between 500'-1000' in the narrow valley between Greenfield and Deerfield?
  20. Congrats to the snowbound, keep the pictures coming!
  21. Nice. I'm sitting under 30dbz returns right now and can't get it to flip. Temp is actually down 2 degrees 34/33 RA with occasional wet flakes. I may not even get a trace imby.
  22. Judging by radar the hills around Orange must be getting smoked right now.
  23. About 4” of snow at 1200’ in Leyden maybe slushy 1” at 1200’ in Colrain. Fascinating stuff. Longitude FTW. I need a dashboard mount for my camera so I can take driving videos!
