  1. They still have quite a bit of terrain open.
  2. I don't make a lot of money but it's pretty cool to tell people you work at a brewery when they ask what you do. I was a massage therapist for many years and that was always an awkward conversation in social settings.
  3. There are no small craft breweries that I know of adding corn syrup to their ales. Some use Belgian Candy sugar or beet sugar to up the ABV in strong ales and double IPA's becuase it is cheaper than Pilsner Malt (the most common malt in IPA). The big commercial breweries do indeed use rice and corn and other sugars as fermentable adjuncts. There are several possibilities of why some beers make you feel bad. I'm tired now and this is a long discussion that I will get back to tomorrow. I actually need to be up early to dump grain in the mill for brew day.
  4. We live in an ocean of emf, I wonder what effect that is having on us all?
  5. Ectomorphic metabolism. I was the same way until about age 45 but even now, with moderate exercise, I can pretty much eat and drink whatever I want. People hate on me for it. LOL
  6. Foam Brewing out of Vermont. Killer IPA’s!
  7. Honestly I rarely use THC anymore. I grow a few summer garden plants for fun because it’s legal and a nice gift. Occasional edibles for injuries or insomnia. Otherwise it’s that bi-monthly solo joint to attain that ego death, religious experience.
  8. Sun and soil grown organic is still the best. Screw indoors.
  9. Even during the big spike this winter, big grocery stores had already stopped counting customers at the door.
  10. Eds and vapes might get some by, but smokin' get you really high...
  11. Not happening in the northeast. There will be fear that the unvaccinated are factories for the strains with protein spike mutations that hinder vaccine efficacy.
  12. Yeah, I used to deal with a lot of bars for work and it’s really sad to see the hit they took. What is even more tragic is that just months before the pandemic lockdown started, Moan and Dove had just taken over Seymour in Greenfield, also no kitchen. Double financial kick to the nuts for the owners.
  13. It’s just hope we are not saying the same thing in mid May.
  14. In MA definitely. No food = no drinky.
  15. Yeah, interesting driving around. I’ll go from torrential rain to bone dry roads a mile further down the road, back to torrential rain, back to dry roads in another mile or two.
  16. It was nice here, 58F and showers now.
  17. Oh' man, don't spoil the plot for me!
  18. I love going to the movies. A neighbor up the street from us, is wealthy and a film buff, so he and his wife stepped in to save the Garden Theatre in downtown Greenfield. I’m taking my kid to see King Kong versus Godzilla later this week. The bonus is, the town gave him a beer and wine license!
  19. Lol, Worcester doubling up on Bangor snow totals.
  20. I’m not that far west of you and I’m a foot below normal.
  21. I know a lot of people in the restaurant industry and it is impossible to find help right now. Cape Cod is absolutely screwed because of travel restrictions. They rely on lots of Eastern European college kids in the summer.
  22. Breaks of sun and clouds here. Looking forward to the next few days being a little warmer.
