  1. Uhg, 33° rain after less than .5” snow. hope folks up north do OK but plenty of bust potential with forecast accumulations. Back edge or round one already racing in.
  2. Wishful thinking. Yup, just like that, as soon as the precip lightens up at all it flips back to sleet. You can already see the back edge of round one racing East.
  3. Hopefully can grab a few inches from round one. 33/28 and looks like the bright banding is washing out coming East of the Berkshires so maybe we pound snow for a while. The cutoff is pretty extreme, friend in Deerfield says it's still a lot of sleet mixing in there and he's only 10mi South of me.
  4. If this keeps up I'll be calling the plow guy tomorrow morning. Snow blower is down and I'm not shoveling this.
  5. Friend of mine at Sunset Lake said it was pelting sleet about an hour ago. As I said above, pounding snow here at the moment.
  6. Incredible gradient right now. Sleet in downtown Greenfield at about 200’ elevation and mostly snow at my house 4mi north at 400’ elevation. already decent coating. 33/29
  7. Absolute scalp fest right now. Pelting sleet with occasional flakes mixed in.
  8. I think that January storm had thunder snow. I was in fourth grade living in Cambridge. Yes, it did melt before the blizzard.
  9. I think the new parameters up there are confidence in 8” or more.
  10. Active pattern through the remainder of the season I think.
  11. It was tiring reading his histrionics but we all helped a brother through.
  12. That's pitching a sloppy shutout S of RT 2. Definitely realistic but hoping we can get more folks an inch or two of snow with this.
  13. Yes and dry slot faster too! They are actually one of my favorite types of storms for my locale and elevation. Nothing blockbuster but generally reliable.
  14. You forgot NAM wins with warm tongue racing in faster than expected at mid-levels. Hopefully we won't be checking that off.
  15. I'm thinking 4-6” is a safe bet in Greenfield. Should be the biggest so far this season. Not really concerned with elevation in these set ups. Lat/Long more important.
  16. Probably be a decent gradient between the S Berks and N Berks. Didn’t look to see where he is though. 3-6” good bet.
  17. So you have pretty much had about a week of winter weather this year?
  18. I know it’s a little sadistic but I do kind of enjoy the general publics dread over a crushing late season snow.
