Snowy from Fitchburg to Orange and then more or less white rain when you dropped below 800’-1000’. Just snowing lightly in Greenfield not sticking of course 35°. -
Snowing hard in Leominster but barely able to stick. I guess that’s what happens when it’s 34°.

Rain with a few pellets mixed in in Chelmsford. We’ll see how the ride back to Greenfield is down route two.

This system has the disappointment potential of a late March storm.

I think the latitude of the mid level goodies would be a little more tilted SW to NE but either way you good to go on this one. I feel like 7-8" for you and cement 4-6" for me.

4-6" in Greenfield, no school Monday for the kiddo is how I need to plan my life schedule. I would love it if we could lean 6"-8" but need to see where dynamics and lift go for this as we get closer.

I don’t think we’re getting there unless we can pull a powder on paste deformation band in the second part of the storm. 9” would get me over 30” for the season though. That would be an on or above average winter pace for the upper valley:

I brought home 4-packs of the double IPA that we canned yesterday.

6” of snow overnight in semi-rural areas is definitely enough to close schools. School buses aren’t exactly Unimogs.

I feel like this comes in a little stronger than modeled today. Just looking at the lack of consistency with globals and the way some models had that S stream digging, leads me to believe, a more wound up and N solution remains on the table. I'll stay engaged for a decent event N of RT2 through at least 12Z Sat.

We did one about six years ago at Berkshire East. It was actually a great turn out from all over SNE and beyond.
