1.25” appears to be it. Still some light snow.
Still steady light snow here with radar looking OK to my West.

I know. Ironically this might be the heaviest rates I’ve seen all winter right now.

Flipping between arctic fog and big dendrites visibility dropping quickly.
30F SN/+SN
too bad it’s short-lived.

Light snow here
Same but it’s wind shattered dendrites of arctic sand with bigger flakes occasionally mixing in. Should improve with the heavier echoes just to my West.

This for Saturday?
Saturday, tonight is coming from a different direction. You might be in the game for Saturday if it keeps trending.

Tonight looks like 1”-2” max S of the VT/NH border. Maybe I’ll break out the leaf blower to clear the driveway in the morning.

Hudson and upper CT River Valleys are just completely devoid of snow including the surrounding high terrain. Brutal but looks good elsewhere. You can see that most of Connecticut has more snow cover than the Berkshires.
The Berkshires have had a terrible winter this year.

There will be a period of chances in the first half of March.

Good chance I get more snow tomorrow than during yesterday’s debacle
It's pretty much a lock here.

Northampton is only 40 miles from Hartford so that’s a pretty amazing gradient to go from 14 inches of snow to zero.

Man, I wish I could’ve taken the day and gone to the Cape. There’s nothing quite like seeing snow on the beaches.

29" on the season with average of like 62".
I’m just numb to it at this point.
Sorry for those who have wells but now I’m just praying for a desert dry spring and summer. -
I’m resigned to another below to well below average winter. About 21” so far and I average 55” or so.

The flakes were incredibly large. Great snow growth all storm long.
That’s awesome and pretty rare these days.

Four down. Light snow and breezy
You have 4” in Springfield? Holy cut off. I’ve been as far south as Easthampton today and there’s nothing on the ground.

heavier rates to the south so snow....in marginal airmass you need heavy rates to be snow
This is why I’m actually happy that Greenfield didn’t even catch the fringes of this because it’s 36°. It just would’ve been white rain.

Back edge not far away, but we've had a reasonably snowy couple hours. Grass almost not poking through. Congrats to the CT valley peeps south of the border.
Razor sharp cut off because I’m in Northampton and there’s nothing on the ground and it is not precipitating.

I know it's in NY (please don't yell at me) but cool waves on the back side of the snow on the radar. What is causing that?
I haven’t looked but maybe gravity wave?

Have a nice burst of moderate snow here. Probably be done after this band moves through.
