Yeah, I'm cool as a cucumber personally. Fairly comfortable with a 3-6" type deal. If we do better, great. If we do worse, less to worry about at the office. Season is still young.

There were a couple busts in March '18 down here that got me close, but 2010 was special in that department.

That was a special melt. They were busing people out of the radioactive exclusion zone in eastern Mass. for weeks after that one.

Boxing Day had great wind. The snow was awful.

My folks did. I was in Boston at the time. Great storm there too, but yeah it stung to not be home for that one.

I believe it. Almost a fifth of the faculty at the school where my mother teaches is out with COVID and subs are almost impossible to come by. They're pulling administrators to try to cover, but it's a real stretch. A lot of folks couldn't get test results back in time as well.

GFS has always sucked with nor'easters. I don't know if the update has resolved that though.

This reminds me of Feb 5-6, 2010, the storm that first cemented "confluence" as a dirty word in my winter lexicon. I expect to smell the snow, but see nary a flake.
