  1. No freezing rain ever. There's nothing worse. Whoever wishes for it. Never actually lived through an ice storm.
  2. Light freezing rain, with a couple snowflakes mixed in . 27.3°
  3. Good. Keep freezing rain away. There is nothing worse.
  4. Plow just came by and salted road. No precip. falling. 28.6F
  5. The blizzard of 96' happened in the exact same pattern we'll be in going into 2nd week of January. Just about 30 years to the day.
  6. Had a little coating of snow/freezing fog this morning. I don't know what to call it? Lasted till about 9:30 am. Coated all surfaces, including roads. High today was 32.0. Temp dropping now. Down to 30.4, which I don't like with possible freezing rain coming in.
  7. Great to hear from you Walt. We needed your input on this event for the last few days. Hope you had a great Christmas. And you and all your family is well.
  8. Mod. Snow. 16.7F. Maybe 1 new."? Agree. Radar looks terrible. Unless this somehow this fills in, there's no way we are getting the 5-8, and up to 10" in higher elevations here as forecasted.
  9. Went from basically all sleet. To heavy snow last 5 minutes. 17.0°
  10. Yup. For years. It is on point at sniffing out that warm nose at mid levels. I have no idea what the percentage is? But, I would say it's 90% correct most of the time.
  11. Mostly sleet now with flakes mixed in, as temperature continues to drop. 17.0° I think this will be a big bust on forecasted snow totals for here.
  12. 15 minutes ago, walking back with my Dog. It was a sleety snow. Not sleet. But loud snow if that makes sense? The flakes now have got very big. 17.8F
  13. If as you say there's alot of subsidence to the north and south of the heaviest snow band. Why would you say you could see ALOT of sleet south of that band? That would not be subsidence??
