  1. Light snow has started in last half hr.. Every flake is sticking. Calm wind. 28.1°
  2. Like that purple tongue coming up right over me in NE Sussex county.
  3. I would never use a temperature reading from the display in a vehicle.
  4. Temp has dropped 1.6 in last hr. or so. Now 30.0. Cold air is seeping in.
  5. After a low of 14.5 last night. Temps have been steadily rising from before sunrise. I was starting to worry, not so much for here, but for city folk and coasties. Made it up to 31.6 about an hour ago, but now it is slowly dropping. Hopefully these falling temps make it down to the coastal plain. A couple of hours of mixed precip or rain would cut down on totals.
  6. I'm wondering how long till the posts of winter cancelled, put a fork in it, maybe next year will be better, because of climate change, soon NYC will see no snow. Etc., etc., etc.. Blah blah blah. I say. If CP doesn't see more than 2" Saturday night. Then we get a few days, or even a week of a warm up. We will see those posts.
  7. -baby steps -this model is terrible in this situation -this looks like _fill in favorite weenie storm Some good wrap around/back end snow.
  8. Partly cloudy. Occasional light flurries. 21.6
  9. Kudos to Vernon Township DPW. They are in my neighborhood now. 2nd time plowing and salting. Roads are perfect.
  10. Still some flakes falling, but it's basically over. 1.8" total. 32.4 5.1" season total so far.
  11. Snow continues here. Maybe 2" on unpaved surfaces. 1" on paved surfaces. Road covered again after plow came by an hour ago. Will go shovel driveway in a bit. 32
  12. Mod snow. Sticking to everything but road. 32.9
  13. Still 9 here. +3 Franklin, +2 Hainseville, 0° in Layton
  14. Yup. Swing and a miss. Oh well. Maybe the 22nd will produce?
  15. Right? I hear ya. What is the average high for Central Park for Dec. 7th?
  16. LOL! So funny. I was going to post yesterday that if NYC proper didn't receive any measurable snow by Dec. 20th, the comments of winter canceled, put a fork in it, on to spring, etc, etc., would appear. I was wrong. Only took to Dec. 7th. Too funny..
