  1. I don't do forecasts. But. Looking at all the forecasts I've seen right now. Looks like a good bet for a coating to 2" for NYC proper. 1-3"/2-4" nw of 287. Currently: clear, calm, 27.9
  2. If we can get 3" out my way, that would put me around 15" for the season. Lake has been frozen, and the young guys have been playing hockey for at least a week. Not a bad start to winter.
  3. Lol! Yes. We should save this. What do you call a torch?? 1 or 2 days about 4 to 6 degrees above normal?
  4. Went to rain/sleet/snow mix when winds were really gusting for 5 minutes. Now just rain. Temp dropping rapidly. 39.0
  5. Temp down 5 degrees from earlier high. Now 47.6
  6. Temp rapidly falling and sun hasn't even set yet. 19.7°
  7. Partly sunny. Flurries. Occasional blowing snow. 23.9°
  8. Storm total 6.5" 11.7" for season. Currently partly cloudy 23.9°
  9. Just got out to shovel. Measured 6" on the nose. Still snowing. 27.0
  10. Snow continues. 27.0 Took two quick measurements on my driveway. 5.5" so far.
  11. Lake ice is a very tricky thing. A couple days of slight warming and below freezing at night is no big deal when u get snow a several inches of snow cover on lake. Its like an insulating blanket. It will melt from below the ice.
  12. I was just thinking the same thing as per overperforming. Snow accumating quick right now. Temp holding steady at 28.2
  13. Yes. I am a sissy when it comes to going out on ice. I like 6". Preferably 8" of clear non slush ice. The young bucks were out there today. And drilled over the whole lake. 5" of solid clear ice.
  14. 5" of solid clear ice on the lake under a little snow. A couple guys ice fishing today out there. Currently: light snow. 28.2
