The article is nearly 5 years old but the problem with the crows has only gotten worse since the time it was written. Now there are flocks of geese battling the crows. Did I mention snow??? There are more geese in the Methuen area than I can ever recall. They are battling the crows for territory....it's like 2 gangs having a turf war.

Back in the day mid to late November did not "look" early April. There was a obvious difference.

There are flocks of geese in the Methuen area. Grass in my yard is still growing. The other day my wife and I were driving to a basketball tournament, and along the way we commented on how it looks more like early april.

I also like snow in November BUT November is not a winter month, nor will it ever be a winter month.

There have been far more major snowstorms in March than in November. It's not even close.

I actually prefer going to the beach during the fall and winter. Far less crowded. I know people who golf during the winter...well provided there isn't snow on the ground and that has become more common. What about hiking and biking? Both are great in the winter.

People who often go outside during the winter do not feel the cold nearly as much as people who stay inside during the winter.

This has to be one of the most boring years for weather.
