Every day your goal is to write the same thing over and over again in an attempt to upset people. You know exactly what your goal is prior to writing nearly every post that you have written . And you continue to do so on a daily basis. And then you get pissed when you get called out on your daily drivel. Numerous people have called you out BUT you continue to post things in an attempt to upset people who enjoy winter weather Speaking of stalkerish behavior, YOU have essentially stalked the winter weather forums for months .

It's about the only thing that can be considered great in Billerica. Howie Carr describes Billerica as Somerville with trees......

"warm season things" and the months of March and April do not go all that well together. And by warm season things do you mean leaving your basement for 10 minutes???

Another thing that was ignored was the storm tracks during the fall.

I do not think Larry Cosgrove was ever onboard with the idea of a cold and snowy winter.

I think many of them ignored the overall warmth of the oceans and the record warmth across much of the Northern Hemisphere. And let's face it a forecast for a cold and snowy winter is click bait on some level.

Actually there hasn't been much to clean up. Usually I have to clean up a lot of twigs/branches during the winter but not this winter. I only have 1/2 of a lawn bag so far. In a typical winter I usually fill 4-5 bags with branches and twigs. The lawn looks more like it does during later March and/or early April.

A 3-5 inch storm is much better than no snow at all.

Fisher had 3.1 on his broadcast on Tuesday Edit...and I believe a total of 5.7 combined for this January and last January. Fisher also added that a total that low had only occurred in back to back Januarys one other time, and that was back in the 30's

As things stand right now, every winter forecast that called for a cold and snowy winter stands as a complete fail. There is still some time left to raise the grade from an F to a D/C but the time to do so is getting shorter with each passing day.

I try to watch as many of the TV mets as possible especially if there is an approaching winter storm. Some mets I like better than others. I have a side gig with a baseball scouting service so I will pay a lot of attention to the weather forecasts during the spring and summer. Also I scout for a hs football team so I will watch the TV mets to stay up to date on the forecast for the upcoming games on Friday and Saturday. There is nothing worse than a long rain delay prior to or during a game. And one of the job requirements is I have to stay until the game is completed , postponed or called during a game. I once left a NH Fisher Cats game at slightly after 1 AM. There was a 21/2 hour rain delay to start the game. Normally the game would have been rained out but it was Akron's only trip to NH.

Noyes has had a pretty good handle on the winter so far.

I agree. Until the overall storm track(s) changes it is going to be difficult to have sustained cold and snow.

For the most part it has had an El Nino look to it for quite some time. JB has made the point that the waters have never returned to normal following the Super El Nino of 15-16.
