All sleet here now. Pretty quick changeover as things go. No waffling back and forth.

Hearing the first pingers on the windows. Mixing with snow for right now. Just in time for me to drive to the datacenter.
Probably won't accumulate much now that we're mixing. 3" for now. Maybe we'll get a half inch of sleet and a glaze of ice.

Yea nice band hit us this morning. Looks awesome
Yep, finally looks like winter. At least this will stick around to cover up the mud for a while unlike the 3 inches the other week.

2.2" moderate snow. Cleared the wife's car and driveway. Back steps were already white again when I finished that 10 minute clearing job. Maybe we'll hit 4" here.

Some of you people "all you f'n do is bitch and moan about every single negative snow/cold/potential comment." I thought you were blocking everyone who doesn't post ACATT?

It is absolutely roaring just off the tree tops . That constant jet roar Tippy talks about. Periodic 35-40 gusts making it to ground
Yep, same down here. Just had our first house creaking gust.

@The 4 Seasons 3" final here in Salem, CT. About 2" before the dry slot came in around 1am last night. Another inch during the day today, really hard to accumulate today.

NWS with a WSW out for "Portions of southern Connecticut, northeast New Jersey and southeast New York." 5-8" fits with my thinking unless we get the NAMMY.

If anyone wants to go fishing, I've got night crawlers like crazy out in the yard right now. December 27th. 47/46 imby.

Tree down in the yard (heard it come down at 3:30am). Tree down and across the road just up the street. Still have power for now as our power comes from the opposite direction that the tree is across the road.
We'll see if we still have power after the meso crossing eastern LI comes through here.

They probably are going to wait until last minute to up to HWW. I noticed they’ve already upped the wind speeds in the advisory to HWW speeds. They are so slow to react even when it’s captain obvious. It really doesn’t matter. Beast incoming
Already HWW down here. Should be fun times tomorrow AM.

I’ll take the under on that.
Yeah, agreed, definitely under that map. But my road has power outages with 25mph breezy run o' the mill t-storms.

I won’t lie though. Having December suck is painful. Maybe I’m getting old, but December is a miserable month when there is nothing to track. I don’t need a KU, but a couple of light events are a lot better than this. Hopefully something happens after Christmas.

Pouring rain. Just had one of those house creaking gusts, otherwise just regular breezy rain.
