Impressive. Left work in Norwichtown with just flurries starting. Got home to Salem and already 1.5” on the ground. Roads were super slick with not treatment down anywhere.

Ya'll are gearing up your snow removal equipment. Meanwhile I'm having my wife check the basement to make sure the sump pump is still working. So much rain this year.

Flurries here in Greenwich. First flakes of the season for us.
Likewise here in Salem.

That would be our damaging screaming sou’easter we’ve been seeking
That would be interesting if it played out... Lots of Oaks and Beech with leaves still on them down this way.

So much for the low to mid 40's my NWS forecast was printing out yesterday. 52.8 right now.

Nice bit of lightning and thunder with this line coming through. Saw some pretty turbulent clouds; going every which way, as a separate cell passed just to the north of me.

95.5/75 here now. Not sure if we'll get any hotter today.

95.1 IMBY. Nice and toasty. I like it, reminds me of Thailand.

16" here, might squeak out another tenth. Parents in Niantic said about 18" around 6pm. They might have gotten a bit more after that as this final batch has been moving through.

Snowing lightly now that I'm in between the 2 heavy CT bands. Just took 3 measurements. 12.5", 13.5" and 15" on flat areas of the driveway away from the house. So I'll call it 13.75" so far. Might be able to squeak out another inch if that west most band moves overhead before the end.

I mowed last night and they were everywhere. All over me ,the grill, the truck..
Sounds like your spray worked
Yep, little tiny gypsy moth caterpillars everywhere so far. Most trees are fully leafed out down here with the exception of the Oaks. I they're struggling since they all got stripped last year. Unfortunately about to get stripped again.

Wow, 23 hours since the last post in this thread. Time to unpin this baby until October.

Old Lyme is back in some pretty good snows, along with an uptick in the breeze. What a storm.
Nice little band for you guys. Wish it would spiral back this way and give us a final hurrah...but looks like just a few flakes. What's your total that way. About 13-14" here.
Sent from my iPhone
23" total so far. Still coming down nicely here in the very SE corner of Salem.

Sleet just started here in the last 5 minutes or so. Wonder if we'll change over to rain by midnight?
