Actually, I would take e 16 over it this go around.
Was gonna say e16 looks better for you. Less worry about taint.
I'd be fine with either one. Moving on to gardening already. Don't need anymore snow.

Zero frost in the ground around here. Nightcrawlers up and out while walking the doggo this evening. Curious what the surface to 6" temp is. What a fall we've had. Ready for summer.

Just some light overnight rain. Pack is quickly dwindling, but at least it made for a beautiful morning.

Had a lovely Jebwalk in the heavy squall. At least we got a week of winter.
Ditto. Awesome walk with the doggo in the woods as the squall moved in. I don't sensationalize too often but this is an amazing squall. Almost an inch already in ~25 minutes.

Nice final bursts of snow...pushed my total to 2.25" Although this fluff will melt and sublimate fast, lets see if the 3" glacier underneath can make it to next Saturday for perhaps our next chance at snow.

Beautiful Saturday morning. 1.5" new.

6.8" final. Only accumulated to about 4.5" on the driveway. Was right around 32 degrees or a little more since 7am.
Didn't get the 8" I'd hoped for, but did almost double the yearly total and eclipsed last years full total. 14.75" total for this year (so far).

Moderate snow. 2.5" on the cold surfaces. Had some terrible snow growth earlier. Looking much better now. Hoping for 8" down here.

One of my rather childish ambitions (and there are many) is to plant some more, let's say, unusual specimens in the yard. I'd really like to see if a Tulip Tree could grow - I've never seen one in New England but I know they're around. I'd also like to see how well a Douglas Fir would do.
My parents planted some kind of Magnolia in Pepperell, MA and it would blossom beautifully every spring, but I think the poor thing only managed to grow from about 3ft to 5ft in 15 years.
Tulip trees are a dime a dozen in SE CT...come visit if you want to see some 100'+ examples. I have 4 just behind my garage that are all 110'+ and dozens of them in the woods behind the house. They are amazingly fast growers. I have another that is now ~60' and 40" in circumference that was just an 8' sapling in 2009 when I moved here.

Clear Lane actually... WAY more metal eating than old fashioned salt. Stuff is terrible
Not that I necessarily believe a giant corporation but this is what Cargill says about Clear Lane:
"Reduced corrosion. Longer equipment life. Harmful rust and corrosion that results from extensive salt use often diminishes the life of application equipment. The patented PNS-approved corrosion inhibitor found in ClearLane® enhanced deicer is better than traditional road salt for your fleet, helping extend the life of your application vehicles."

Looks nice this morning. Everything is white again. 1” new. Already melting though. 33 degrees.

It is kind of sad for a fantasy storm. Used to be looking at 45 to 50 inch totals in fantasy land.

Can't wait for my ~1" of snow. Seriously though, this does look interesting for DIT on north. The Ski areas will hopefully be happy with it.
