Picked about a bushel of assorted chili peppers today. Some red, some still green. Last harvest from the garden.
Everything that'll winter over comes inside for good tomorrow. Which is good as I'm tired of dragging the 150lb Kaffir Lime tree in and out of the house for it to enjoy these past few weeks of warmth.
Still 60 here at 5:35pm on November 12th. Torch!
1st frost of the year on some grass and low surfaces (sheets over the Thai chillies). Tomatoes look unscathed, but they're about 6' tall. Now to put all the sensitive plants back outside for another week or so. Kaffir Lime, lemon grass, etc....
Actually got a little breezy as this line passed through the neighborhood. 25-30mph gusts. Otherwise this second round of "storms" has been meh.
Pretty interesting watching that line travel north to south while the bulk of the storm head West to East. (time sensitive)
Good thing. Looks like Fiona held together very well over the DR. Already trying to clear out her eye and looking good to be a major in the next day or so.
Was dark and gloomy all morning. Sun is finally out after a brief passing shower. Warm and sticky 76/72 imby.
Hoping for some good rumbles later today/tonight.
1.60" from this mornings storms. Nada for this evening as the line is dissipating as it reaches N.L. county. 8.93" for September so far. Stein finished here. Mushrooms growing everywhere. Collected some Oysters for stir fry tonight.
Still getting Steined so far down here. .05" from a 3 minute extra heavy shower around 1:30ish, but nothing since then.
Warm and moist. 78/74 IMBY. Lot's of rumbles of thunder from the storms just to the north. Hopefully they sink south as the day progresses.
