  1. Up to a balmy -2 off the low of -8. Looking forward to a nice hike later today. Nothing wrong with dry and cold.
  2. -2/-23 all the way down here. Even KGON is down to 1. Fun stuff.

  4. Interesting morning. Rain and 36 when the wife left for work @ 5:30am. Now down to 32 and a light coating of snow on everything except the roads/blacktop. Looks like more snow on the way per radar. Wonder if I'll be able to add .5" to my yearly total.
  5. 1.25" final here. Interesting to see just a mile down the road and 200' lower in elevation there's basically nothing on the ground or cars.
  6. Wow, sorry for your loss. Almost an inch now on the hood of my truck. (385’ at the house) Doggo had a great time walking in the snow earlier.
  7. Hoth, you out on the island today? Snowing big fatties, mixed with smaller flakes here.
  8. Crankin thunder and lightning. Shaking the whole house. Very impressive.
  9. Couple of "hot" towers going up around the center.
  10. Had 5 minutes of so of sleet/graupel? when these yellow pixels rotated through right after sunset. No accumulations as it melted on contact. Still 37 here.
  11. NWS is saying T-storms with 1-2" of rain and gusts up to 45mph for Thursday night into Friday AM. Has anyone taken a look to see if it's actually gonna be that windy?
  12. Well, at least it looks like winter this morning even though I know it's not. 29 and light snow with a coating on everything. #wintervibes
  13. Yes, I'd like to order a combo meal. A #16 and a #17 please.
  14. Rain started about 15 minutes ago down here. 40.
  15. LOL...January 4th and already 80 pages of....angst, wishcasting, vitriol, etc...with a little bit of model analysis and weather discussion sprinkled in for good measure. If this rate keeps up we'll be at ~600ish pages by the end of the month. Today was fantastic by the way. 60 degrees and muted sun in the afternoon.
  16. lol @ the panic when winter just started 7 days ago.
  17. Power out since just before 3pm. Eversource came around and cleared the tree and wires off the road at 5pm but didn’t get the power re-connected. Generator is running strong but now the furnace is just clicking when it tries to kick on and circulate the hot water. Grrrrrrrr!! Time to fill up the kerosene heater and get that running. .
  18. Not much wind when the rain came through, but it’s a dull roar in trees again though not as strong as this morning. Having said that, the power did go out about 5 minutes ago. .
  19. Pouring rain as this last line comes through. Not much wind in this line so far. Let's see if the wind is delayed behind the heavy rain.
