LOL at DCA already 88 at 8 am, sheesh.....

For 3rd straight day I've set a new yearly high, 95.2 degrees. And, for the third straight day it is the 3rd warmest for that date again behind 1988's 97 and 1980's 96. Currently hazy, bit of fog and 66.3/65.2. Got a bit of rain (0.10) from a thundershower between 9 and 10 last night, hoping for more today.

Again placed a 3rd for hottest for the date with a 94.6 degree high (and high for the year). Record is 97 from '88 and 2nd 96 from 1980. Currently 68.6/64.2 with cloudy skies that moved in just around sunrise, hoping for some water at some point. Amazing that Roanoke shot up to 103 in late afternoon!! I'm guessing they had a perfect downslope off the ridges to their west for a bit of compression down into the bowl that they are.

Hit 93.0 for the high, hottest so far this year and makes it the third warmest on this date since I've kept records. First goes to 1995 with a 95, second is 1980's 94. Currently 65.7/60.5 with just a few clouds in the sky.

Ended up with 0.14 from the storm that popped up right over top of us between 5 and 6 pm. That gets us just a bit over 1/2 inch for the month so far. Currently 69.8/65.4 with mostly sunny skies after a 62.9 low.

LOL, I sarcastically spoke too soon, wow. Actual storm blew up right over top of us, sitting at a tenth (0.10) and still raining. Temp down to 77.7 from 88.2.

Issuing a FSW (Flash Sprinkle Warning) for my area. Currently sprinkles are falling, and looking at radar, these sprinkles are likely to continue and MAY even cause objects to completely turn wet.

Well, predicted that one lol. 0.00 Least it was cloudy at times and helped keep us in the low 80's for a high.

Nothing water-wise here, and IF it happens probably won't be much. Of course, each raindrop counts once it gets dry... Currently partly cloudy and 63.6/60.2.

2.26 here since June 1st, pretty dry. Currently 71.3/60.0 at 9:45 pm.

Nothing rain-wise here (Congrats to those who did), but the air made a dramatic change in early afternoon. Hit 91.2 around 1 pm, then the wind swung around to W/NW and gusted 20-25 mph. DP went from low 70's down into upper 50's, nice. Currently 64.5/59.1 at 7:45 with a light NW breeze at 3 mph after a 63.2 low.

88.9/69.4 at 1 pm here. Looks like another 90+ on the way unless these clouds filling in bring rain quick.

6 +90 days here, almost double my average of 4 per year, and we have a good bit of summer to go. 92.2 degrees is the highest recorded so far.

68.0/67.2 this morning under partly cloudy skies and a bit of haze. Yesterday hit 90.3, someone turn the heat down!

One of the reasons I'm thankful to be 'up in the hills', especially this time of year. Currently 77.3/69.6 at 10:15 am after a 64.6 low this morning.

Only hit 87.8 here today after a 91.5 high yesterday. Lots more clouds during the day helped a bit, but no actual rain fell. Yesterday and day before got almost 1/2" combined in afternoon thunderstorms.

I told my wife about a week ago it seems from day 4/5 thru 10/14 it shows LOTS of rain/showers, then pulls back when the 4/5 gets to 1/3. Rinse and repeat.

Just a glance once home, looks like somewhere in the .20-.25 range shining a bright flashlight towards the gauge. Not as much as hoped, but better than nothing.

Just enough rain to wet everything about 20 minutes ago. Still some stuff and headed in this general direction, let's see if it makes it. Currently 83.4/68.0.

Hit 87.9 about an hour ago, somehow we have managed to have clouds move in.... I'll take it for the cooler air. Currently 85.4/65.3.
