We missed a massive thunderstorm to our south last night. I barely got much either but right below us looked like some great thunderstorms.

62 dew point already. Yuck

If it's anything like the Super El Nino in 2015 it's going to make the summer even worse. Though I think the Super Nino back then was already established more than this current one they're forecasting. I remember May in 2015 being fucking brutal and was the earliest my parents pool ever warmed up enough to swim in before June. Can't remember any other year where their pool warmed up that fast.

Wed and Thurs are gonna be bad. Looking like it'll hit 90 both of those days. At least it'll make the 60s and 70s that come back after that feel cooler lol

Very nice day today. Though having 5 days in the 80's next week with 2 of them flirting with 90 is gonna be miserable if it's really humid too. I didn't look at the dew points for next week

Getting 3 severe weather threats in less than 2 weeks in the middle of March is kinda wild not gonna lie. I'm glad it's raining a lot more now not just because of the drought but because I really enjoy heavy rains. All the drought was really depressing lol

That's cool you and your son are doing that. I've been wanting to build one for my dad so he can play stuff like Red Dead Redemption 2 since he's been interested in that. He hasn't really played much stuff in decades but he used to play stuff with me as a kid all the time growing up. It just sucks so hard that prices are out of control right now due to AI datacenters so ram sticks and soon nvme SSD prices are insane right now. I did tell him it's probably best to do it now rather than later

I wonder if that was the same storm I experienced that one night in 2011. I remember around that time I was sleeping in bed and woke up to the loudest thunder ever. It was crazy because there was no forecast that night at all for rain of any kind let alone a storm that severe. I can't remember exactly what day it happened but I'm thinking that was the same storm. That thing is still ingrained into my memory and remember other people talking about it to me later in the day lol

I had some of the heaviest rain I've seen in a while with that storm just a little bit ago. Wild that you didn't get anything heavy considering you're like 7ish minutes from me. But yeah I didn't notice any wind at all either. Just one massive thing of thunder that shook the house and that was kinda it.

It's raining here but nothing severe at all. Just a normal rain. I do have a severe thunderstorm warning but seems like a run of the mill rainstorm so far.

100% can't stand how much Ryan Hall just clickbaits all the time to drive views. Because that's mostly what youtube and social media has devolved into. I've actually left comments sometime just blatantly explaining it to viewers because it's frustrating. Andy I actually knew him from elsewhere before knowing he was on his channel since he does video game streams but he's like the only genuine one there who's not in it for the money and hype/fear mongering. But yeah I do not like watching Ryan because of what he does. It's very important not to drive people into a frenzy

I was born here and still live in the same town and I can't really remember a setup where I was genuinely this worried. Normally severe weather excites me but I'm not really feeling it with this scenario. Definitely very concerning setup

Just got a tornado warning from that storm. I can see it over the mountains. Looks really nasty

NYC must be getting destroyed. This streamer I watch who's from NYC has lost his power twice now lol. I've seen him stream during snowstorms before and never had anything happen. Must be bad out there.

Power was flickering on and off. Street lights went out for a few minutes. It's not even windy over here lol

Starting to think the same. Barely anything has really accumulated on the pavement even though it's been snowing for a few hours over here in Enola. They're still calling 2-5 inches but I think it's going to be on the lower side too. Far cry from the 6-12 inches yesterday
