from what i expected it was a bust for my area of manhattan..

heard only 2 claps of thunder no hail some heavy showers in manhattan..

The humming of Air conditioners, Cicadas, fireworks and ice cream trucks = sounds of summer.

here in the city hearing  gunshots is also one of those summer sounds i am getting accustomed to....

it feels more comfortable at 90 today then it felt when its 80 and high humidity...

how much rain the city got from the heavy downpour earlier ?

 in my area of manhattan it lasted that long and hail for 10 minutes..

i lived in nyc my whole life and i never heard that duration of hail before..

5-10 minutes of hail with this storm...

heard no thunder yet...

86 degrees dewpoint 59 light gentle breeze not bad for late june..

warm summer day with a nice breeze...

i seen no predictions for anywhere close to triple digit heat let alone mid 90;s heat for nyc anytime soon...

not much in manhattan seems to bypass me to the east

really dark in nyc it  looks like it may pour any minute ..
