    i made a prediction before september that nyc will not hit 90 degrees again until next spring i am modifying it saying i meant central park will not and i am sticking to it! i am a man of my word..

    plenty subways were shut before the storm but some some lines were washed away and tunnels were so damaged it took months to rebuild them and open them up

    i have a family member who works all the way downtown they get off work at 11:30pm i wonder how they will get home tonight they may have to double shift...

    last 2 hours central park has picked up 4.65 inches of rain

    gfs has less then a inch for the city never again do i want to hear anyone talk about the goofus model..

    yes a lil less then 2 inches in one hour by henri this smashed the 1 hour record..

    look juicy maybe we can get close to 4 inches a great start to maybe another 10 inch month

    saw a flash of lightning and hears thunder along with the gusty wind in the city bites my nails..

    so am i.. i cant wait for cool days chilly night dry temps.. but i would not mind one last hurrah for a real soaker gloomy late summer day..

    ih i hope we get 4 or 5 inches in central park so we can be well on our way to the third straight month of 10 inches of rain.

    when i watch the weather channel the gfs is always dry compared to the euro not just here all over the country it's a gfs bias

    if the city has not done it already.. this rain will blow by the 10 inch mark for the month for the city. darn tomorrow is sept 1 lol well maybe september will be another 10 inch month lol..

    ny reservoir levels are at 95% normally this time of year should be 82% nyc normally uses a billion gallons of water every day..
