  1. Generally 2-4/3-6 further inland in pike region.
  2. Still warm core when it exits the coast and south of sne in zeta portion. Everything further south. Pike southward had a nice hit but not historic. Kevin May lose power though.
  3. This run looks like it will be flatter vs 12z and further East.
  4. One thing-euro at 60 vs 12z 84 has a lot more robust landfall for zeta on this run.
  5. UKMET is like a box of chocolates.....
  6. I think that’s pretty similar though than other guidance temperature wise. Don’t forget your only out to 12z Friday. If this thing performs as the euro depicted at 12z the action here in the pike region is mid to late afternoon and evening Friday.
  7. Actually that jet streak on GEFS is interesting. I screwed up the times and the evolution. Stand by.
  8. On my phone while walking in the hood...
  9. Really nice at 72 then opened up and scooted.
  10. Early take on GEFS is danger, Carlos.
  11. Time for the big boys. I’ll provide euro pbp later.
  12. Spoke to Chicago family who reported snow in the air today. Didn’t ORD get maybe 10 Inches last Halloween?
  13. Wait-gfs is ok for SNE but NNE imho is getting walloped.
  14. Well we’re where we usually are. Gfs tries to miss us and everyone else wails us.
  15. Tip wins! Everyone else go home...
  16. No pig=less angst...and a polar opposite from November 2011.
  17. 1947-48 was a very big snow winter.
  18. I think the zoom format has the potential for widespread participation especially with something on the horizon. Kind of like return to mirc with video. We should try to get the NNE/SNE crews together on the same call.
  19. Yes and I absolutely am convinced (without hard science yet) that this so called 3rd wave has mutated to a less virulent strain. With that said, some of the numbers about the stretching and overwhelming of resources are very concerning.
  20. The main concern is for their older family members. We went to Vermont 2 weeks ago to visit our daughter. We demanded she test within 72 hours of our visit and we did as well. In my part time gig, seeing the writing on the wall I opted out of F2F care and am remote a day/week. If they told me no soap, I’d have said nice knowing you. But I readily admit I have this option and can easily survive without working at all. Many people in our age cohort are not so lucky.
