    Agree. But further out in time is always somewhat tenuous.

    Those weeklies look amazing! However we should caution that we’ve had good looks from ensembles and weeklies as recently as last winter.

    Multiple model ensemble guidance suggest the second half of January is MUCH colder with a cross polar going by then. As Steve says, get the cold, the snow will come. It’s a sweet look and there is great agreement across all ensemble guidance for a period of deep winter.

    Not possible. We’re driving and for urgent family business. I’ve missed plenty of them but it can also snow in Chicago as well as the entire LES belt we need to drive through going and coming.
