  1. 1-2. A close call but no cigar....
  2. Speaking of Don Kent.....before there was gray for me....circa 1972
  3. I don’t ever remember this many leaves. Hopefully they come next week. Too soon for the gutters with so many still on the trees, I may have to wear my snow boots to wade through them....
  4. Leaf storm today. I have 4-8 on my yard and trying to hold out till the people clean up at the end. Then it’s time for the gutters. I may take a bit tomorrow but then again I may not….
  5. One thing I noticed was that after a string of sub freezing nights there is no green and leaves are shriveled. Should be a good leaf storm Friday.
  6. Init stamp is the same on mine. Maybe ecmwf is using a different database for anomalies? Either way they aren’t awful nor particularly good.
  7. Pick your parameter. May have to refresh a few times. After this week mainly cool last 2 weeks in November and not far from normal later weeks.

  9. By the 1980s I was long gone which I’m sure colors my views. If I were 20 years younger I’m sure I’d have a different perspective.
  10. Well looking at the 1940s through 1070s one can see how my impressions were formed. Thanks unc!
  11. That was so perfectly timed! I had a flight to FL that I was able to move back so I could experience a morning several hours of good snow that day.
  12. I don’t think that’s true at all! Growing up, 30 year normal snow was 30ish at NYC and it’s nearly 20% less now I think.
  13. 28 for a low. Door spoiling the warmth this early to mid week?
  14. It’s a pretty sweet look-hopefully it holds.
  15. All true. But I have to admit we’ve enjoyed the empty nest knowing home is always here for our baby. Looking forward to seeing her in a few weeks!
  16. 27 was my low. Extremely busy week-major conference in Boston and I’m still involved with the organization. So through Thursday it was the equivalent of full time work. On top of that I gave the keynote at a sub organization that I’m a founding member at. Long lunch yesterday with 2 friends and private dinner with a friend and his wife tonight. Then it’s over. The weather was cool but boring is good in that situation. I have no idea how I ever worked full time-I’m exhausted-lol.
  17. Thanks for your hard work on this Ray. I think you’ll do well at least for this area.
  18. Nice start to legit winter chances 11/20 on.
  19. January 2015 actually got cold by mid month. The snow waited till the last week though.
  20. 31 for my low. Woke up too late for frost.
