  1. I was going to go to age 75. But they always say you’ll know when it’s time and it hit me around Labor Day. So I’ll retire 11.5 years past my full benefit time. Having lost everything in my 30 years ago divorce-I had to start from scratch again in my early 40s. So it all worked out and I had the good fortune of staying healthy. I’ve been beyond the cap for years so colas never gave me full benefit. And extras I negotiated don’t count towards retirement calculation. I put max and Catch up away though so it’s all good.
  2. So you say no snow for the next 27 days?
  3. Lol....I’m going out FERS with 37 years, 7 months of service.
  4. EPS is pretty consistent on some really cold air here 11-15.
  5. He really is a great guy. I went to an info seminar on a new benefit we (federal employees) had the option of purchasing. Everyone had to flash their ID and the guy ahead of me has one from NOAA. I look at the name it’s DRAG! I blurt out-Walt Drqg and he wheels around with a look of who the fuk could know me here.... It was right before the 2002-03 winter and he had some great insight. Nice man, hopefully enjoying his retirement. I’m a bit older....(maybe 2-4 years) and will be joining him in retirement in 6 months.

  14. One month later we were en route to the snowiest period in history for many. And the best part was Kevin insisting we wouldn’t get big storms....nickel and dimes only.
  15. Still snow otg at home especially on the shady side of the street
  16. The kid has a look on his face kind of like “there’s not enough snow to do this-shit!” It also looks like he’s texting neighborhood teens asking them to come To the window. Call your daughters and warm them!
  17. Look up halcyon days. We’re experiencing a common occurrence with this break
  18. It’s making steps and as we’ve discussed they usually are incremental
  19. I actually thought that showed some improvement in the 11-15.
  20. Eps with a nice look today. Transition week 1 in January and full blown winter week 2?
