Well the Logan total was 11.5 which was 10% above normal. Your 8.5 call is 15% below normal so I don’t know how you can verify yourself with what transpired. I mean if I call 17 inches in a 20 inch normal place and 22 verified my call failed. Good work on the precip pattern however.
And for those simplifying the situation presuming if AK has low pressure and cold it’s warm here....you weren’t around during the frigid AK and east coast winters of the 60s. Negative PDO with NAO can give you some weenie solutions. Without the nao we’re at the mercy of nuances.
Take these diamonds in a pile of turd and run. Pattern is really bad but we have enough occasional local thread the needles to score. I think the real pattern change to something resembling eastern winter occurs in February. If we continue to see backsliding in the guidance 2 weeks from now we may have to pack this one in.
